I really appreciate the Biddy philosophy of Tarot—not as something predictive or passive, but as an empowering and action-based tool. This was the first time I encountered Tarot being framed this way, and I loved that the entire course was built on this perspective.
The course itself was incredibly well-structured, making the learning process feel approachable rather than overwhelming. The progression was excellent—not only in terms of learning the card meanings but also in teaching intuitive methods to internalize them more effectively, rather than relying solely on memorization.
I also really valued how Brigit continually reinforced the importance of making Tarot our own. Her guidance on looking at the cards and thinking for ourselves—beyond traditional meanings—was incredibly helpful.
When the course shifted toward the business side of Tarot, it pushed me to reflect on aspects I hadn’t even considered, like client interactions, welcome forms, ethics, and boundaries. Now, as I take my first steps toward building my own Tarot business, I feel grateful to have already been introduced to these foundational elements rather than having to figure them out on my own. In fact, this course may have even given me the confidence to pursue Tarot more seriously.
Also the fact that on the platform we can practice with the free readings is one of the most valuable things here! I know it’s not only part of the course, and available without taking the course, but as a complement it is so important and also brought me much more confidence in my readings. I think it’s great that we “have” to do at least 20 of them, because they are a bit daunting at first but then became a real joy to do. This hands-on practice made a huge difference in deepening my understanding and comfort with reading for others.
Overall, I’m really glad I took this course, and I’m excited to apply what I’ve learned moving forward!
For me, the most valuable part of the program was—and still is—the Biddy philosophy of Tarot. These days, you can learn about Tarot almost anywhere, but if the philosophy behind it doesn’t resonate, it’s hard to fully connect with the teachings. Brigit’s approach helped me reconnect with Tarot in a way that made sense to me. I realized why some past readings I had received had left me feeling disempowered or even fearful of what the cards might reveal. This course gave me the confidence to embrace a non-predictive, empowering approach—one that helps the person receiving the reading feel more in control of their path.
I also really appreciated how, throughout the course, Brigit continuously reminded us to make Tarot our own. She shared her methods but encouraged us to explore, personalize, and check in with ourselves. It wasn’t about “this is the only way to do it,” but rather, “this is how I do it—how does it feel to you? If your approach is different, great! Just take the time to reflect.” That open-minded approach made all the difference.
One of the other most valuable aspects of the course was the confidence it gave me—not just in terms of understanding the meanings of the cards but also in truly owning myself as a Tarot reader; The course didn’t just teach me Tarot; it helped me believe in myself as a reader.
I also love that Biddy emphasizes that while natural talent can be helpful, Tarot is absolutely something you can develop and refine with practice. That message was so empowering because it made me realize that confidence doesn’t just come from being good at it naturally—it comes from dedication and experience.
The course was structured in a way that built confidence step by step. Not only did I become more comfortable reading the cards, but I also started to see new possibilities for what I could do with this knowledge. The progression felt natural—at the beginning, the idea of having a Tarot business seemed completely out of reach, but as the course unfolded, the possibility became more real. It opened up ideas I hadn’t considered before, and I’m so grateful for that.
Being part of the community was incredibly helpful! If I had a personal question, it was great to be able to get feedback and advice on the forums—whether it was about reframing questions for a reading or more technical aspects of the course. I also learned a lot just by reading other people’s questions and seeing the thoughtful responses they received.
The community truly reflects Biddy’s core principles. I always felt a sense of warmth and compassion in the answers, with people taking each other’s experiences and Tarot skill levels into consideration. It was a supportive and encouraging space where I felt safe asking questions, knowing that the responses would come from a place of kindness and genuine guidance.
Another invaluable part of the learning experience was the ability to practice with free readings on the platform. It was one of the best ways to put everything we were learning into action. The emphasis on practice, practice, practice—along with the feedback we received—really helped build confidence and solidify what we were learning
Honestly, I can’t think of much to improve, but if I’m really being picky, I’d suggest maybe a reminder about how the 20 free readings are required to complete the course.
I’m sure it was mentioned when we signed up, but after that, I felt as if it came as a bit of a surprise and a bit late for me. I felt lucky because I started doing the free readings because I wanted to, and just thought it would be good practice. It was only when I asked something on the forum about one of my readings not getting feedback that I learned from a comment that it would still count toward the 20 readings. When I read this, I was like “what?!” I felt lucky that I had just decided to do them on my own. So, perhaps there could be a reminder after a couple of the first modules and throughout the course, because if my memory is correct, I think we only talk about them towards the end of the whole course. If I hadn’t decided to start them on my own, I would have found doing 20 readings all at once to finish the course overwhelming. Even in my case, where I had started about halfway through the course, I realized that towards the end, I felt a bit pressed for time to complete them in time (in under a year) and had to double down to get them all done! Knowing about the 20 readings requirement earlier might have helped me pace myself better.
Other than that, the only other thing I found a bit inconvenient was having to log into two separate places for the Biddy community site and the Biddy certification program. I think I heard that you’re working on merging them, which would definitely be more user-friendly.
First of all, I can interpret cards without having to look online or in a book. I feel that I can make connections between the cards to give a deeper meaning to the reading, using both the traditional meanings and what my intuition tells me.
On a more general level, I’m more comfortable talking about Tarot to others, explaining my philosophy and how I see Tarot being used; Today, thanks to the program, I’m more confident as a reader and feel ready to call myself a Tarot reader.
